Although we do not need a referral from your family doctor, you may want to check with your insurance provider! Some insurance providers require a doctor’s referral in order to reimburse you for the treatments.
Our services are covered by most insurance plans! Please be sure to check your coverage prior to your appointment!
Absolutely! The honesty and privacy of the process are critical to its success, and all of our therapists are bound by the code of ethics of their regulatory body. There are some circumstances in which a therapist is legally obligated to breach confidentiality (for example imminent risk of self-harm or harm to others) and these should be covered as part of an initial assessment. Do not hesitate to discuss your confidentiality questions with your therapist!
Each session is approximately 55 minutes in duration. We do offer longer sessions, upon request.
We offer both in-person as well as virtual sessions! Our in-person sessions are offered in our Newmarket location. Our virtual sessions are offered via video calls or phone calls, depending on your preference!
Massage
You must be 3 years of age or older to receive a massage at our facility.
The frequency of treatment is dependent on the assessment done by our RMTs.
Holly oil is derived from a plant and contains vitamin E and jojoba. We also use an alternative hypoallergenic water-based gel.
Conditions that can be treated are wide-ranging. Common conditions include musculoskeletal injuries, overuse injuries, tension headaches/migraines, postural imbalance, joint dysfunction, central and peripheral nervous system dysfunction, circulatory conditions, respiratory conditions, gastrointestinal conditions and cancer.
Yes! We offer direct billing to most insurance companies! Please bring your extended benefits card with you to your first appointment!
